A DESIGN LOVER’S DREAM

The farmhouse, in a peaceful region called Quercy in the Tarn-et Garonne, is well known for medieval villages, farmer’s markets, vineyards, and ancient chateaus. The newly renovated farmhouse blends tradition with contemporary architecture and features mid-century modern furniture and 20th-century art.

THE DETAILS

The property consists of La Maison, L’Atelier, Le Cottage, and Le Jardin Suite. Each dwelling has a full kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. La Maison has two bedrooms. All five bedrooms have double beds. Vitarel is perfect for large family gatherings, groups of friends, and events such as weddings and offsites. A large garden with several terraced areas, an olive grove, and a secluded heated pool surround the property.

Amenities.

At any time of the year, summer or winter, the studio has a great open space with a large table suitable for social gatherings, meetings, or classes. Complete with state-of-the-art AV equipment, including a 65” 4K TV, a 4K video projector, and Sonos 5.1 sound system. Underfloor heating keeps the space cozy and warm in the winter, and an air conditioning system keeps everyone comfortably cool, even on the hottest days of summer.
The swimming pool is nestled into the hill and is surrounded by plants, a grove of olive trees, and a magnificent view of the valley below. There is a large terrace, outdoor lighting, and a fire pit for nighttime use. There is a changing room with a full bathroom. The pool is covered with a solar canopy, the power plant for the entire property, providing all the energy needed. The solar roof offers shade in the peak summer months.
Vitarel has many large open outdoor spaces for gatherings such as weddings, reunions, and corporate retreats. The lower garden has a large flat area that can accommodate up to 120 guests, and landscape lighting ensures that events can extend into the evening. The terrace in front of the main house is connected to the Cottage and the L'Atelier, each with its kitchen. Four kitchens on the property make cooking for large groups easy and convenient.
